Why we built it
Transperth's own app is slow, glitchy, and useless the moment you lose signal — underground, out past the metro area, or just on a bad network day.
RL Transit was built on a simple idea: your bus or train doesn't care about your reception, so your app shouldn't either. Every Transperth stop, station, and timetable lives on your phone. No forced account, no tracking, no personal info handed over just to check a timetable — just a fast way to catch your ride.

Yes, RL Transit is free to download and use. There are no ads and no in-app purchases required to use the core app.
Is RL Transit available on Android?
Not yet — RL Transit is iOS only for now.

Yes. Stops and timetables are cached on your phone rather than fetched live, so the app keeps working underground, out of range, or on a bad connection.
